Ah, the Pet Shop Boys.
You may be aware of them. A few hits here and there back in the '80s, relatively popular in the UK since then but pretty much regulated to gay club status here in the States (like most good music...).
They also co-wrote a song called "The Loving Kind" for Girls Aloud, which as you may remember was a massive hit a few weeks ago in the UK (crickets...crickets...)
Anyway, they have been working diligently with Girls Aloud's musical masterminds in Xenomania, and the resulting album Yes is, according to Popjustice, supposed to be quite brilliant. The new single, "Love etc" has gotten out and here it is.
Slightly dark electropop, with lyrics about love being more important than a house in Beverly Hills or Daddy paying the bills (suit yourself, mate...), and overall a promising taste of what's to come from this new album.
