Girls Aloud's latest single, "The Loving Kind", which stormed the UK charts at Number 10 this week (crickets...crickets...) contained a B-side called "Memory Of You".
It is quite possibly one of the greatest pieces of music to ever be released by anyone using the name Girls Aloud.
However, Fascination Records are under the impression that most Girls Aloud fans still live in 1974, as the official version of "Memory Of You" is only available on 7" vinyl. Due to the incredible nature of this track, many fans are calling for the label to give it its own release, since they more or less screwed things up with "The Loving Kind", which is a properly great song in its own right.
Here is a video of "Memory Of You", so you can hear for yourself just how amazing it is.
When I lost you in Japan...the best lyrics of 2009, no? (It's January, moron.)
